As AES Group, we had a meeting with Steinert Co., one of our most important dealers in Southeast Asia, regarding the market situation, common activities, expectations, and products.
Can you tell us about your company and your activities?
Steinert Co. Ltd started its business in Southeast Asia 20 years ago. The Central Office was established in Bangkok, where the long-term success story began to originate and soon spread throughout Southeast Asia. Today, Steinert operates in Southeast Asia with its own sub-dealerships and other long-term partnerships in Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. Consumables with all types of adhesives for the woodworking industry and the adhesives that can be quickly completed for other sectors constitute its activities.
As a result of the customer turnaround and demands, Steinert launched the machine part as the next step. Steinert is not only known for its competitive products but also for its reliable service activities in all areas. Outside of the showroom in Bangkok, it made significant investments in recruiting new personnel and increasing demand from the market and training them. In a short time, the number of personnel increased to around 100.
What is your connection to AES and how long have you been working together?
AES is our strategic partner in the field of CNC machining technologies, and our successful cooperation is entering its third year with significant sales figures in 2017. Currently AES and Steinert are at the top of the main players with satisfied customers in the furniture industry.
What is the strongest part of AES for you? What do you think about our products and services?
AES supports Steinert's market activities in different areas, clearly a key to common success. Reaction times to customer demands and sales and after-sales services are one of the strongest aspects of AES. In 2017, AES joined Steinert's first Steinert Technology Days in Bangkok with two staff members to run their machines.
Strong sales and service support can play an important role if combined with a wide variety of products. AES recognizes the importance of listening to its partners and customers in this area. AES does not hesitate to monitor customer demands and to go further when it is possible. The upcoming VEGA 5X - CNC Machining Center promotion will certainly provoke much interest for Steinert's customers. With its strong body structure, the VEGA 5X stands out not only with good components but also with its competitive price. Steinert and AES will be presenting the VEGA 5X at this year's IFMAC exhibition in September and will also present VEGA 4X and SIRIUS 950M models on May 17, 2018 during the 2nd Steinert Technology Days.
Would you recommend AES to your customers?
Of course, Cabinet Vision is a very important program in terms of the data it contains and mobility. I think that AES is the machine that can have a correct outcome with correct production. AES this is really a value associated with our CNC, it has significantly reduced its dependence to the outside and I strongly recommend this machine and system to the users in the whole industry.
